Cosmo Ticket App

An application that streamlines the pet adoption journey, offering users a straightforward process to adopt pets without any uncertainty.

The Problem

Movie goers go through the trouble of buying tickets in person, consuming most of their time while watching a movie in the theater.
My role:

UX designer designing the Cosmo Movie App.

Responsibilities:

I would conduct researches and build wireframes and low and high fidelity prototypes. I would also conduct usability studies where I give interviews to participants to test out the app.
The goal:

The goal I am trying to achieve is for movie goers to save time and efficiently buy tickets online.

User research: summary

The aim of this research is to ensure seamless user experience for the app, enabling users to use it effortlessly. To achieve this, I have conducted a usability study involving seven participants. The target audience for this app primarily consists of high schoolers to working adults, especially those with busy schedules. My objective is to simplify the process of buying movie tickets for these users.
User research: pain points
User Personas
User journey map

Making a journey map really helped with the process of building the Cosmo ticket app and how users can navigate through it.
Paper Wireframes

Although this is just a drawing of my wireframes, it gives a clear idea of how I need my digital wireframes to be while making sure I include the users pain points when buying movie tickets.
Digital Wireframes
This is the main homepage of the app. For people that are wanting to search what movie they want to watch, the search bar is placed in the middle where it is easily seen.

Icons are used on this page for users to understand that those seats are used by people with wheelchairs just by looking at the icons used.

Low-fidelity prototype

This is a clear user flow of how to book for a movie ticket, basically buy choosing a movie and then selecting the date and time.

Mockups
In usability study, the users mentioned that they wanted an option to enable their current location when searching for the nearest theater they want to go to.

The users mentioned that they also wanted to see their payment information on the confirmation page.

High-fidelity prototypes

This is the final product of the movie app and the flows are more easier to navigate for users and more clear.
